Merlion: Obsidian in the Terminal

Merlion brings Obsidian’s power to your terminal as a TUI app for any UNIX environment.

Project Overview:

• Backend: Rust for amazing the typing system
• Frontend: Good’old react to have web access if needed (limited feature ATM)
• Terminal UI: Go because I’m tired of Python not being typed & compiled
• Infrastructure: Hosted on my own: latent.host

Status & Plans:

• Daily Use: Already my primary note tool
• Development: Ongoing refinements
• Release: Targeting mid - 2025
